A Personal Touch of Elegance Travels and Tours was established on November 8, 2009, born out of a simple request from co-workers to organize a group cruise. With little knowledge of the travel industry at the time, the founder (Patricia Bailey) embraced the challenge, booking that first group cruise and igniting a passion for creating memorable travel experiences.


Our Story

Recognizing the importance of expertise, Patricia Bailey enrolled in travel classes and joined several professional travel groups. These opportunities provided valuable insight into how seasoned professionals formed and escorted their groups and tours, laying the foundation for my agency’s growth. What began as a learning journey quickly evolved into a thriving business dedicated to offering personalized and elegant travel experiences.


Since its inception, A Personal Touch of Elegance Travels and Tours has steadily grown and expanded, building a reputation for professionalism, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. Among its proudest accomplishments is the coordination of the annual trip to the Newport Jazz Festival in Providence, Rhode Island—a signature event that reflects the agency’s ability to blend culture, music, and travel into unforgettable experiences.
